HOW MY ENGLISH JOURNEY HAS BEEN
Let's talk about how to learn the English language journey in four or five months, so I wanna write some information about how other people like me learn English this easy way I was learning and I hope it'll help you.
Initially, I spent several years studying English in private schools and colleges, but I didn’t see much progress. However, I realized that to truly become proficient and potentially become an English influencer, I needed to change my approach.
I stopped making excuses and committed to learning English wherever I was-whether at work or at home.
I acknowledged that being in an English speaking country would facilitate learning, but I didn't let that deter me. Instead, I made use of resources like my cellphone and adjusted my schedule to prioritize language learning. Additionally, I invested in courses and resources to support my learning journey.
I’ve also noticed that my vocabulary isn’t as strong as I’d like it to be, so I’m determined to improve in that area as well. I’m actively working on expanding my vocabulary and I hope to become more proficient over time.
The mood of noting my improvement in this language has significantly impacted my daily life, particularly in areas such as vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and writing overcoming challenges. Though dedicated practice and use of resources like the Promova app, I’ve seen noticeable growth in my vocabulary and grammar skills.
Additionally, my confidence in speaking English has increased, allowing me to engage more effectively in conversations. However, I’ve also encountered challenges along the way, such as overcoming language barriers in my daily life.
Despite these challenges, I remain committed to furthering my English skill and embracing new opportunities for growth.
Additionally, regularly engaging in face-to-face conversations with people I meet has significantly boosted my confidence in speaking English. The more I interact with others in real-life situations, the more comfortable and fluent I become in expressing myself in English.
Becoming fluent in English requires a combination of methods and consistent practice. Here are some effective strategies to help you achieve fluency:
1: Immersive learning: surround yourself with English as much as possible by watching English movies, TV shows, listening to English music, or podcast and reading English books or articles.
2: regular practice: practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English into your daily routines, such as keeping a journal in English or talking to yourself in English.
3: language exchange: find a language exchange partner or join language exchange groups where you can practice speaking with native English speakers and help them learn your native language in return.
4: Language Apps and Websites: utilize language learning apps and websites that offer structured lessons, interactive exercises, and opportunities for speaking practice with AI or native speakers. Some popular options include Hellotalk, Dualingo, and Rosetta stone.
5: Take English classes: Consider enrolling in English language classes or courses, either in-person or online, where you can receive formal instruction and guidance from experienced teachers.
6: Use English in Real-life situations: Try to use English in real-life situations, such as ordering food at a restaurant, asking for directions, or participating in social gatherings with English speakers.
7: Set Goals and Track Progress: Set specific, achievable goals for your English learning journey, such as mastering a certain number of vocabulary words or improving your pronunciation. Keep track of your progress to stay motivated and celebrate your accomplishments along the way.
8: Seek Feedback and Correction: Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, instead, view them as opportunities for learning and improvement. Seek feedback and correction from teachers, language exchange partners, or language learning apps to identify areas for improvement and refine your skills.
9: Stay Motivated and Persistent: Learning a language takes time and effort, so stay motivated and persistent even when faced with challenges or setbacks. Remind yourself of the reasons why you want to learn English and celebrate your progress, no matter how small.
By incorporating these methods into your language learning routine and staying dedicated to consistent practice, you’ll be well on your way to achieving fluency in English.
